How it all began...

Between Camping trips, our little 1966 Airstream would sit in the drive quietly awaiting her next adventure. As a small home dweller it served as an extension to the house. A place for the kids to play a game of cards, or for me to have my morning coffee and read, and of course casual happy hours with friends and neighbors.

On one such evening we considered "why not take this idea on the road?" There are food carts everywhere but a traveling vintage bar sounded way more fun...

Tin Cantina Airstream

...and the Tin Cantina was born.

Some of the best ideas come after a margarita or two while surrounded by good friends and 17 feet of aluminum.

GLAMPING

Another chapter…
When I first saw this trailer, she was literally a hunk of junk waiting to be hauled off. But something made me say, "Wait a minute, I think we have a gem here!"

I convinced my BF Cory and good Friend Brent (who restores things professionally) to help me take on the project and Voila! Meet Matilda. The cutest little camp trailer ever!

Having these little trailers in my life teach me a lot about the abundance in simple pleasures. They've inspired the motto in which I strive to live by...

Live small to live large!

I am happy to share this experience with others one camp trailer adventure at a time.

Matilda has her own private campsite nestled in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge.
